As an owner of an Omega J8006 juicer, I know exactly how these two units work. When you look at these two juicers you can see that they have the same design but are completely different colors. This is the only difference between them. When you compare the price of the Omega J8003 and the Omega J8005 it is the chrome and black J8005 that is slightly more expensive. As far as they way they work, they are the same. In fact the instruction manual that comes with these juicers is identical.
